CREW is a leading innovation hub dedicated to growing the digital creative industries in the West and North-West of Ireland. We provide essential infrastructure, training, mentorship, and networking opportunities to entrepreneurs, startups, and scale-ups in sectors such as film, animation, game development, design, and digital arts.
Our mission is to support creative enterprise through world class initiatives, the provision of an inspiring and vibrant hub, and the development of a community enabling creatives to thrive, collaborate and achieve long term international success.
CREW offers accredited and non-accredited programmes for creative entrepreneurs. These programmes will help you turn a creative idea into a sustainable business, breaking down barriers to the start-up world by demystifying the jargon around entrepreneurship, sharing toolkits and processes to give creatives the power to respond to a changing world.
EDGE26 is Ireland’s Creative Economy Summit which took place on Thursday 21st May 2026 at the Dexcom Stadium, Galway and demonstrated the value of bringing together industry, enterprise, education, research and government around a shared ambition. Throughout the day, conversations focused on innovation, entrepreneurship, internationalisation, talent development and the opportunities emerging across the creative economy.
EDGE26 demonstrated CREW’s ambition to position Galway and the wider western region at the epicentre of Ireland’s digital creative startup ecosystem.
Bringing together more than 350 delegates, 34 speakers and 30 startup and SME exhibitors, the summit created a platform for meaningful discussion about the future of Ireland’s creative economy and the role this region can play in shaping it.

Our purpose-built facility includes private offices, co-working spaces, meeting rooms, innovation and event space. CREW’s Creative Enterprise & Innovation Hub hosts a thriving community of members including entrepreneurs, start and scale-up enterprises, SMEs and corporate partners.
