Ann Conway is a design strategist working at the intersection of human-centered design, customer experience, and artificial intelligence. She is the founder of Amplify Design, a customer experience strategy studio that partners with organizations to design customer-centered services and growth strategies. Ann teaches AI for Strategic Research and consults with design professionals and teams on how to use AI to transform their work.
Identify high-leverage opportunities for automation (offloading repetitive tasks) and augmentation (expanding creative and strategic capacity) that can support business growth.
Design and document a future AI supported business workflow (e.g., marketing, proposal writing, growth strategy)
Apply critical skills of effective communication with AI, giving appropriate context, judging quality and accuracy of AI output, and ideating with AI as a thinking partner.
This course is designed specifically for creative entrepreneurs. It addresses common issues and concerns in the creative industries around AI, while guiding participants to develop the skills and knowledge to use AI to power business workflows.
Participants are interested in using AI to increase their reach, gain efficiencies, or support their creative thought process. They may have questions or concerns about maintaining the quality and rigor of their work with AI but are willing to experiment with evaluation methods and developing quality standards.
Course Structure
Format: 2 live classes (3.5 hours each) + 1 practice week (async) with coaching
1) Pre-work (2–3 hours)
2) Class 1: Design your AI-supported workflow
3) Practice week (async + coaching)
4) Class 2: Future process + adoption plan
Deliverables for Participants
The course fee is €200.
The course is being offered to the SME at 20% of the market rate (the full programme is valued at €1000) with the remaining 80% supported by Enterprise Ireland Smart Region scheme. In order to avail of this discounted rate, all applicants are asked to confirm that they have the appropriate De Minimis balance to accept the support. This course is suitable for creative entrepreneurs and small studios building businesses in fields such as film, game design, digital design & creative tech, and others who have experimented with AI, but are ready to learn best practices and standardize their work.
