Creative Practitioner Residency Programme
Galway Culture Company and CREW are inviting applications for a Creative Practitioner in Residence programme based at the new CREW Creative Enterprise & Innovation Hub in Galway. Building and fostering a creative enterprise community is one of CREW’s core values; we are seeking digital creatives/creative tech practitioners to participate in a month-long residency programme exploring the theme of Creative Communities. This may include ideas such as the future of Technology x Creative Practice, the role of AI in Creative Communities, Inclusion and Belonging, Global Networks.
Eligible practitioners will be working in the areas of animation, game design, immersive technologies (AR/VR/XR), media production, or digital design.
During their residencies, creatives will be invited to engage with CREW members working in the CreaTech sector, fostering dialogue with industry, and exploring innovative methods of creative enterprise development.
Residencies are 1 month in duration, with a total of 4 residencies planned from June – September 2024. Practitioners will be provided with a workspace at CREW’s Hub in Galway, networking and mentorship opportunities, and a bespoke seminar series developed in partnership with Galway Culture Company.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for these bursaries, you must be a Creative Practitioner either living in or from Galway City or County.
