Job Title: Programme Associate  Reports to: Director of Programmes & Projects Location: Galway / Hybrid Organisation: Comhoibriú CLG (t/a CREW)  About CREW (Comhoibriú CLG)  CREW (Creative Enterprise West) is a leading innovation hub driving the growth of digital creative industries in the West and North-West of Ireland. We provide infrastructure, training, mentorship, and networking for entrepreneurs, startups, and scale-ups in film, animation, game development, design, and digital arts.  We deliver impactful start-up and innovation programmes and are building a thriving ecosystem of supports where creative entrepreneurship can flourish. Since launch, CREW has delivered enterprise programmes, industry development projects, and forged strong partnerships, while influencing policy to support creative businesses. Our 2025–2030 strategy builds on these achievements, positioning the region for significant growth locally, nationally, and internationally.  The Role  We are seeking a highly organised, resourceful, and creative Programme Associate to support the design and delivery of CREW’s growing portfolio of programmes and projects. This full-time, two-year fixed-term role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing engaging content and events, and is passionate about supporting creative entrepreneurs.  As Programme Associate, you will play a key role in delivering incubation and innovation programmes, engaging stakeholders, supporting participants and alumni, creating high-quality content and materials, and supporting the operational and strategic goals of CREW. You’ll be an essential connector within our small, passionate team, working closely with the Director of Programmes & Projects, Project Manager, CEO, wider CREW team, and external partners.  Key Responsibilities  Programme Delivery & Operations  Assume responsibility for the operational elements of programme recruitment and delivery, including creating detailed agendas, workflows, checklists, and communications materials.  Manage communications with programme participants, from the application stage, through programme delivery, and beyond.   Manage communications for external stakeholders who provide input to programmes and events; inviting speakers, scheduling, onboarding and technical support, follow up  Create decks, brochures, onboarding guides, and other programme materials   Conduct desk research to inform communications materials and reports on start-up development, innovation, and government policy.  Support for grant application and grant management, including desk research as outlined above.  Coordinate with facilitators, mentors, and speakers to execute scheduling, onboarding, and communications.  Maintain databases and records to track programme progress, engagement, and impact.  Support programme monitoring and reporting, including KPIs, feedback, and impact data.  Projects Delivery  Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of CREW’s national and international projects.  Support the measurement and reporting of project impact and success. ...

This series is all about authenticity, creativity, and connection. In each episode, we sit down with a CREW member for an engaging Q&A, covering everything from their work, projects, and creative process to unexpected insights into their journey. The goal is to offer a genuine and fast-paced look at the people behind the ideas, their inspirations, challenges, and what drives them to push boundaries in their field. Dr. Paddy Tobin has been appointed as Chair of the Board of Directors of CREW (Creative Enterprise West). Dr. Tobin is the Head of the School of Design & Creative Arts at Atlantic Technological University. The school includes three departments: the Department of Creative Arts & Media (ATU Galway City, Wellpark Rd), the National Centre for Excellence in Furniture Design & Technology (ATU Connemara), and the Department of Creative Education (ATU Galway City, Wellpark Rd & Connemara). Paddy is a founding director of CREW, established in 2017. He has worked in third-level education for many years, particularly driving collaboration and engagement with the creative industries and industry support organisations. Prior to working in education, he held various positions across a range of industry sectors in Ireland and spent several years in consulting roles with companies and organisations in Ireland and the USA. "I am delighted to continue to work with the excellent team at CREW. We are on an exciting journey to become a leading hub and regional catalyst for creative entrepreneurs, and to help creative enterprises to develop and grow to achieve their full potential. " said Dr. Tobin.
